Three Women in Mosaic Pattern Oil Painting

Three Women in Mosaic Pattern is a striking oil painting that merges cubist influence with contemporary abstraction. The piece depicts three female figures, their faces and bodies fragmented into interlocking, tile-like segments, reminiscent of a mosaic. Each woman exudes individuality through subtle variations in expression, eye shape, and lip color, while sharing a harmonious color palette of warm earth tones, soft lavenders, and deep blues.

The fragmented brushwork evokes themes of identity, unity, and complexity—suggesting layers of emotion, experience, and cultural narrative. Bright yellow flowers subtly adorn the hair of the central and right figures, hinting at femininity and perhaps a symbolic connection to nature. The teal-blue background contrasts with the warm undertones of the figures, further highlighting their presence.

The painting invites contemplation of how personal identity is constructed—piece by piece—like a mosaic, reflecting beauty in imperfection and diversity in unity.
